I grew up in Belmont, North Carolina, and graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Mathematics. I received my Masters Degree and Education Specialists Degree from the University of South Carolina. Upon moving to South Carolina, my first teaching job was here at Oak Grove Elementary teaching mathematics. My next teaching assignment with Lexington One took me to Lexington Middle School as a mathematics teacher and it was there at LMS that I entered the area of administration as an Assistant Principal for Instruction. I later moved to the Intermediate School as an Assistant Principal and soon after became Principal at LIS. This is my fifth exciting year as Principal at Oak Grove Elementary.
I grew up in Georgetown, SC. I attended Francis Marion University where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree. After graduation I attended Clemson University where I received a certification in Elementary Education. After teaching for a few years, I earned my Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the Citadel. I started my teaching career at Spann Elementary in Summerville. I taught 3rd and 5th grade at Spann. In 2004 I became an Assistant Principal at Thomas Cairo Middle School. I worked for two years at Thomas Cairo then I became the Assistant Principal at Belle Hall Elementary. I started working in Lexington One in 2009 as a teacher at Pleasant Hill Elementary. After teaching for three years in Lexington One I became an Administrative Assistant Principal in Lexington Richland 5 for four years. As I start my 19th year in education I am excited to return to Lexington One. I am excited about this school year and look forward to “Leading Today the Patriot Way”.

“I grew up in Lexington, SC. I attended the University of South Carolina for both my Bachelors degree in Physical Education and my Masters Degree in Educational Administration. I have taught Physical Education in Lexington One for the past six years at Lake Murray Elementary and most recently Pleasant Hill Elementary. I was also the head boys track coach at Pleasant Hill Middle for the 5 years. This is my fourth year at Oak Grove Elementary. I am excited about this school year and look forward to “Leading Today the Patriot Way” as an OGES Patriot!!!”
